Well, I'm a college student majoring in Asian Studies with emphasis on Japan. I aspire to go into the J.E.T. program upon graduation. I've been studying Japanese for five years. On that note I have, in fact translated a manga as an assignment for my Japanese literature class(JPN 110).
Onto the subject of art I suppose. I enjoy drawing because it calms be down most of the time.
As you're probably aware from my art, I'm a Warhammer 40,000 player. Vizell, the main character in my gallery, was my 3rd Edition CSM Daemon Prince(ss?). She belongs to the World Eater's legion. For those unaware, in 3rd Edition a Chaos Lord and Daemon Prince were one in the same. When the character went above a certain point total in Daemonic Gifts it became a Daemon Prince. Some may be weirded out that she isn't a daemonic freak. That gift was called Daemonic Stature and she doesn't have it.
I have other characters for the other Chaos Gods Tzeench and Slaanesh. I also play the Witch Hunters, Grey Knights, and Death Corps. The Orks will always hold a special place in my heart due to their shear level of awesome humor.
And I guess I will say this: Sammy Braddy is my celebrity crush. She gave me my love of girls with short hair and a body that isn't a twig.
